www.sharphelp.co.uk provide free online and chargeable telephone technical support for Sharp cash register users who have no support package in place with their cash register supplier. Through www.sharphelp.co.uk you can also order the latest range of fully programmed and supported Sharp cash registers, till rolls and offical Sharp spare parts.

Making A Purchase

could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept by credit card or debit card. If you wish to pay by credit card, but do not wish to pay online, simply submit your order online in the usual fashion and choose 'proforma invoice' as your method of payment then phone us up with the last four digits of your internet order number and your payment details.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling

Technical support orders obviously incurr no delivery charge.

All other items will be dispatched by courier and the cost charged is dependent on the time scale and/or service chosen in the checkout. If your order is being dispatched from our main warehouse you will receive email notification from our couriers once your order has been dispatched. If there is an unforeseen problem with your order we will contact you. Please make sure you are in to receive your delivery as our couriers cannot leave parcels without a signature. Re-delivery costs incurred by no-one being available to sign for the goods, or through incorrect delivery information being submitted will be passed onto the customer. We (or the delivery organisations we use) cannot be held liable for any costs or inconveniences incurred through delays to a delivery caused by adverse weather conditions. If you decide not to receive the delivery in the permissable period we reserve the right to charge a handling fee of £20 + vat to cover our adminstration and delivery costs, as we will not be entitled to any refund from the delivery company. We guarantee that all deliveries will be made within the published mail order guidelines of 28 days. If you have not received your order within 28 days we will cancel your order if you are not satisfied and refund you in full (this does not apply to programmed cash register orders).

If you have ordered one of our Collect, Program & Return services please note that we (or our couriers) cannot be held liable for damage caused due to sub-standard packaging being used. Please use common sense when packing up your cash register and make sure that it is extremely well packaged so that it can survive a courier return trip!

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK 20% VAT is added.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Privacy Policy

Sharp Help do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site where they are strictly necessary for the site functionality. They are used to aid navigation, and to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart. If you log in to an account, your logged-in status is recorded in a temporary cookie. If you select the 'Remember Me' Option in the checkout, a cookie will be used to remember your details. You can turn off cookies by blocking them in your browser Privacy settings. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use them.

Data collected by this site is used to:

Returns Policy

Can I return an item I have ordered in error, doesn’t fit or simply don’t want?

We sell commercial equipment and therefore any order accepted is classed as a "business to business" transaction. These transactions are not covered by public consumer law, but by business law. By ordering from www.sharphelp.co.uk or www.sharp-cash-registers.co.uk either online, over the phone, on our other channels such as eBay and amazon or in person in our showroom you are accepting that the transaction is "business to business" and that the item ordered is being used in a trade, business or profession associated to you and not for personal use. We have extensive information on all our products online and remember you can call us before ordering to double check suitability. We have included extensive product information and in some cases demonstration videos to encourage all customers to order the correct machine for their requirements. Alternatively, we have a showroom you can visit to see goods before purchasing (please call beforehand to check item availability). Please note showroom prices may vary from some of the internet exclusive deals available.

Most items that have been ordered in error or the customer has changed their mind can be returned, but will be subject to a 30% re-stocking fee and can only be returned within 7 days of purchase as we presume after this period you have inspected and accepted the goods.

Please note that the following items cannot be returned due to them being either special order items, customised items, items that are realistically unable to be re-sold or offered at a price where we have removed the right to return due to it’s pricing:

Software once opened or registered
Technical support packages
Programming or labour charges

We strongly recommend that all original packaging and parts are retained for the warranty period, as we cannot accept machines back without their original packaging and complete as they were went sent to you.

Any machine wishing to be returned after 7 days for whatever reason, can only be done so without our prior agreement, however we are not bound to do so. Any return period after the 7 days will be treated as a hire and the appropriate hire charge made for this machine will be deducted from any refund or credit offered.

On certain product ranges we offer a hire service where you could try the machine before you buy. But if you are unsure on the compatibility, functions or how the machine operates please feel free to call us before purchase. We will be more than happy to answer any questions. Most machines we offer are available for demonstration, inspection or trial in our showroom in Coventry before committing to purchase.

Changing or cancelling my order

Orders cancelled before the items have been dispatched will be subject to an administrative charge of £15 or 10% of purchase price, whichever is higher. This charge is to cover the bank charges on processing then refunding a card payment and to cover our admin for processing the order. If you are unsure about placing your order please contact us before placing the order. Any programmed cash register order that is cancelled before dispatch will be subject to a fixed charge of £30 + vat. The charge is to cover the additional administration, labour, card charges and the re-stocking of the till. As the stock is allocated to you at the point of order, please ensure that you have the ability to fill out and return the set up sheets before making your purchase. When we receive the order, your payment is accepted and your machine is assigned from stock to you.

To return a machine please download the correct returns form from the choice below. Please note that we will not accept any machines back without original packaging and a valid and correctly completed returns form.
